From the ancient streets of the city centre up to the long avenues of the sea front, shopping in Rimini offers a remarkably wide array of products which are able to suit even customers' most demanding requirements: clothes, shoes, accessories, local handicrafts, food and wine products, furnishings, electronic items and many more for those interested in buying high-quality goods and those looking for affordable prices.

Shopping in Rimini revolves around the ancient streets of the city centre, from Corso d’Augusto, which is scattered with shops, boutiques, bookshops and cafeterias which are crowded with thousands of people every day, up to the nearby via Garibaldi and via Gambalunga and Piazza Tre Martiri, which abound in shops and small bars which gather large numbers of people all week long.

Not to be missed is the crowded weekly street market, which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday just in the heart of the old town, from Piazza Malatesta up to Piazza Cavour. It gathers cheap products and gives people the possibility to get some real bargains. At Christmas weekends, the streets of the city centre and the area surrounding the so-called former fish market are livened up by picturesque street markets which sell local handicrafts, amazing Christmas gift ideas and decorations and every kind of delicacy.

During summer, the long avenues of the sea front are livened up by bars, ice-cream shops, restaurants, amusement arcades, small shops and trendy boutiques. Very crowded especially in the evening, the shops of the sea front offer holidaymakers the possibility to buy everything they might need, such as beach towels and swimsuits, flippers and beach buckets, airbeds, rubber dinghies, life belts and many more.

Not to be missed are the glamorous boutiques and trendy shops which sell high-quality goods belonging to the most famous national and international brands. Colourful street markets are arranged a short distance from the beach from the southern resort of Miramare up to the northern hamlet of Torre Pedrera.

Shopping enthusiasts will have the possibility to visit the numerous shopping centres of the city and the most famous outlets selling famous international brands which are situated only few kilometrs far from the city centre.
